On Tuesday 28 November 2023, a new logistics and industrial park worth CZK 520 million was
opened at a location between Chomutov and Klášterec nad Ohří. The construction of the GARBE Park
Klášterec I project with a total leasable area of over 18,000 sqm was completed in an exceptionally
short time of eight months. Representatives of the investment group Progresus and the developer
and co-investor GARBE have now jointly handed over the building, which holds BREEAM
sustainability certification, to the main tenant. The tenant is ISOLITE, a German manufacturer of
sealing systems. They also announced that they are jointly preparing several other similar projects in
the Czech Republic.

Demand for high-quality and sustainable industrial properties in attractive locations is still very high
in the Czech Republic. We had already signed a contract with the main tenant ISOLITE for occupancy
of more than 70% of the building in the spring before the start of construction,
” said Lukáš Zrůst, co-
founder of the investment group Progresus, which is the main investor in the project. The co-investor
and developer is the renowned German group GARBE, and the general contractor of the construction
project was the Czech company IMOS.

From the purchase of the land, through the building permits, conclusion of lease agreements,
securing the construction including financing, to the handover of the logistics and industrial park for
use took only one year. Without the agile and professional approach of everyone involved, including
our new investment partner Progresus, such a thing would not have been possible,
” said Martin
Polák, Managing Director Central & Eastern Europe GARBE. He added that in order to ensure the
highest quality and precision of the construction, the state-of-the-art technology of drone surveying
of the supporting columns was used.

Progresus and GARBE already have several other joint projects in various stages of development in
the Czech Republic. The project that is most advanced now is an industrial building south of Brno
with a usable area of over 32,000 sqm. Construction of the property, which is expected to be worth
one billion CZK when completed, is scheduled to begin next year.
