Janka Borončová has joined our Progresus Invest Holding team. Since September, she has held the position of director of the Real Estate Development division. Janka is an experienced specialist in the field of real estate development. She comes from Urban Survival, where she was in charge of managing residential projects and sourcing and assessing opportunities for new development projects. Her mission in Progresus will be very similar, with the only difference. Most of the projects will be based on the wooden constructions of RD Rýmařov.
“One of my main goals at Progresus will be to change the wider public’s view of classic wooden construction and at the same time to increasingly support people’s interest in sustainable and healthy living. It is wooden buildings that are the future due to ESG, energy passivity and speed of construction, which is also evidenced by the ever-increasing interest in this type of development, says the new director of Real Estate Development, Janka Borončová, and adds: “Our projects will not be only about the construction of family houses based on wood, we are going to build whole new neighborhoods that will meet today’s requirements for modern and community living. We currently have such projects in preparation and we are ready to start preparing others.”
Janka graduated at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Žilina. Then she worked for four years as a project coordinator and project manager in the company Prodex s.r.o. In 2020, she joined the aforementioned company Urban Survival, where she worked as a project manager and later as the Head of acquisitions, there she gained the necessary knowledge and experience for her future work at Progresus.
“As a fast-growing investment group, we need to expand our team with capable and talented managers with corresponding skills. We have been in contact with Janka Borončová on the side of our supplier for several months and thus had the opportunity to find out how we work together. I’m really glad that we finally reached an agreement and Janka became part of our team,” says Lukáš Foral, the co-founder of Progresus.
